Hello. My name is Yun Sik Shin and as you can see I’m very proud of my name. Most people call me Shigi. I’m a 25 year old student attending University of Toronto completing a degree on Philosophy/English/Politics. I work as a barista at Starbucks near Queen and University. However, I’m aspiring to become a fashion photographer and web design is one of my passion.
I believed I lived a very difficult but interesting life. I remember at a time where I made many mistakes, have done stupid things, encountered difficult times in my life but I never for once regret the things I have done because it has made the person that I am right now.
I taught English in Korea for almost three years and was one of the best experiences of my life. I intend to pursue my photography career there, live there and raise my family there.
Even though I’m imperfect in many different ways, one thing I’m very confident about is that when I’m determined to do something, accomplish something or be something nothing in this world can stop me from doing so.
And here, with my brand new website I hope to begin a new chapter in my life.
